1. who we are
QPop is operated by QPOP TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated in India. QPop is an online marketplace where fans pay creators to ask them a question and receive a personal written reply. These terms govern your use of qpop.app and everything on it.
By creating an account or paying to ask a question, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy, refund policy and community guidelines (linked in the footer of every page).
2. what qpop is, and is not
QPop is a platform. Creators on QPop are independent individuals. They are not our employees, agents or representatives, and we do not author or endorse their answers. When you pay to ask a question, the transaction is between you and the creator; QPop provides the platform, payment collection through our payment partners, and the reply-or-refund guarantee below.
QPop is not a professional advisory service. Answers are personal opinions and entertainment, not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Do not rely on an answer as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
3. accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use QPop, whether you are asking or answering.
- Accounts are created with a verified email address, by one-time code or Google sign-in. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
- One person, one account. Impersonating someone else, including claiming a username to pass yourself off as another person, is prohibited and grounds for removal.
4. how asking works
You pay upfront to ask a creator one question. The creator has 48 hours from when your question is placed to reply. If they do not reply in time, or they decline your question, you are refunded in full. Answered questions are published on the creator profile.
- Payment upfront. Your payment is collected by our payment partner when you ask. The creator is paid their share only if they answer within the window.
- The 48-hour window starts when your question is placed and does not pause or reset. If the creator accepts your question but does not publish an answer before the deadline, you are still refunded.
- Answers are public. A published answer, together with your question, your display name and the amount paid, appears on the creator profile and may appear in shareable images and link previews. Do not include anything in a question you would not want published.
- Creators choose what to answer. A creator may decline any question for any reason; declining refunds you in full.
- Pricing. Each creator sets their own minimum price and you may pay more than the minimum. The total you will be charged is always shown before you confirm payment.
5. creator terms
If you claim a creator page and accept paid questions, these additional terms apply.
- Revenue share. QPop charges a platform fee of 20% of the amount the fan pays for each question you answer; you keep 80%. The fee is earned only when a question is answered. Declined and expired questions are refunded to the fan, and neither you nor QPop is paid.
- Payouts. Creator earnings are settled through our payment partner to the payout details you provide. You must provide accurate identity, bank and tax information when requested; payouts can be withheld while required information is missing.
- Taxes. You are an independent seller, responsible for your own taxes on your earnings. Where the law requires QPop or its payment partner to deduct or collect amounts from your earnings, such as tax deducted or collected at source under Indian law, those amounts are deducted and deposited with the authorities, and we provide the corresponding certificates or statements where applicable.
- Tax status declaration. You agree to truthfully declare your GST registration status when asked and to keep it up to date. We may pause payouts if your declared status and the registration requirements that apply to you do not line up.
- The 48-hour commitment. Answer within the window or the fan is automatically refunded. Repeatedly letting questions expire may lead to your page being paused.
- Your answers are yours, and published. You keep ownership of what you write, and you grant QPop a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and reproduce your profile content, the questions you answer and your answers, including in shareable images and link previews, for operating and promoting the service.
6. content rules
The community guidelines are part of these terms. In short: no harassment or hate, no illegal content, no sexual content involving minors, no doxxing, no impersonation, no spam. We may remove content, decline to publish it, refund transactions, or suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. refunds
The full policy is at qpop.app/legal/refunds. In short: unanswered and declined questions are always refunded in full to your original payment method; answered questions are not refundable, because the service you paid for, a personal reply, has been delivered.
8. suspension and termination
You can stop using QPop at any time, and creators can pause their page at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse other users, attempt to defraud the payment system, or create legal risk for the platform. If we terminate a creator account, questions still inside their 48-hour window are refunded to the fans who asked them.
9. disclaimers and limitation of liability
QPop is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the platform fees we earned from your transactions in the six months before the claim, or ₹1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and the law evolve. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes are announced on the site or by email. Continuing to use QPop after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. grievances, governing law and contact
